Biodiversity is an educational blog focused on issues related to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI), particularly as they relate to the biomedical sciences and veterinary medicine. This blog will explore JEDI applications, highlight JEDI programs and initiatives in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and answer questions related to JEDI from the college community.
Naomi W. Nishi, Ph.D.
Nishi is a scholar-practitioner with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Her research focuses on issues of racial equity and social justice in adult education, particularly STEM education. She serves as the assistant dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University.
