Support Scholarships During CSU’s Love Your State Day of Giving

We are proud of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences – our James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital winning Practice of the Year, amazing alumni mentoring students and recent graduates, and friends who support our groundbreaking research and facilities. We have so many reasons to love the work we do and the people who make it happen. Please take a look at our brief video to hear the heartfelt stories of three of our outstanding – and very deserving – scholarship recipients.

Their pride is contagious. If you feel it, too, join with them and give to CVMBS on Colorado State University’s Day of Giving, April 19. Help CVMBS unlock three challenge gifts to support scholarships:

  • Challenge 1: 100 donors will unlock the Pigford-McKinney Scholarship, a gift of $50,000 from an anonymous donor. This scholarship supports students enrolled in the D.V.M. program and who are pursuing veterinary medicine as a second career.
  • Challenge 2: 20 donors will unlock the Beulah and Doyle Blair Memorial Scholarship, a gift of $2,000 from Drs. Carol Blair and Patrick Brennan, CVMBS professor emeriti. This scholarship supports undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology.
  • Challenge 3: 30 donors will unlock the Tina Elliott-Armstrong Scholarship, a gift of $5,000 from Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital client Tina Elliott-Armstrong. This scholarship supports students enrolled in the D.V.M. program.
