Who is Dr Evan Antin?
The animal lover, who is in his early 30s, is from Thousand Oaks, California in the United States.
Having studied at Colorado State University, he now works as a vet and treats a range of creatures, including dogs, cats and turtles.
On his Instagram page he describes himself as an "Exotic/Small/Wildlife Vet" working near Los Angeles.
He has also travelled around the world, treating elephants and crocodiles.
In the past, unsurprisingly, he has worked as a model and personal trainer.
How did he rise to prominence?
Evan was chosen to appear in People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue in 2014.
He was given the title of 'sexiest beast charmer' in the 'Men At Work' section of the issue, where he can be seen posing with a crocodile.
The vet launched his Instagram account by thanking the publication for featuring him.
He wrote: "People magazine did an article on me in the magazine!!! Picked me for "sexiest beast charmer" in their sexy civilians section (don't ask about that title lol).
"I was in the jungle in Guatemala when this came out, I had to have my mom take a picture and email it to us.
"If you see this copy, go pick it up! Excited and very honored to be mention here in the company of some truly great people!!!! "
Since then he has shared over 700 images - mostly of him posing with a variety of animals - and has now amassed a million followers.
Is Evan single?
In 2015 he told ABC, in an interview about his People magazine feature, that he was engaged.
He said: "Off the market unfortunately, but she's a special girl so I'm really happy."
Naturally, he also lives with a number of pets including a Savannah monitor lizard named Matilda, a dog named Henry, a cat called Willy, and an assortment of tropical fish.
