A new study is underway to understand the response to three different medications in the treatment of canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome in aging dogs, with the long-term hope of advancing Alzheimer’s Disease treatments in humans.
Dr. Anna Fails and Dr. Noa Roman-Muniz, both alumnae of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, will be honored at the 2022 CSU Best Teacher Awards March 30.

Dr. Miranda Sadar with CSU's Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital said smaller animals should be kept inside when possible. If pets aren't able to be brought in, Sadar said the animals should be kept in their sheltered areas.
“Getting animals as presents can be OK if there’s forethought and planning,” said Colorado State University small animal veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Sotelo.
