Firefighters, police officers, paramedics and others worked to warm the horse, while a Colorado State University (CSU) veterinarian (Dr. Luke Bass and Dr. Megan Ahearne) attended to it. The horse was stabilized and taken to the CSU Vet Hospital for further care.
