Hospital lot open to clients-only on CSU football game days

hospital exterior in summer

Client parking and drop-off: During game day, clients traveling to South Campus will be able to park in the client parking lot south of the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the equine trailer parking lot east of the hospital, and livestock drop-off north of the hospital. Diagnostic Lab sample drop-off is still accessible using the same route from Drake Road.

Traffic routes to the hospital: Access to available parking for South Campus staff, students and clients will be off Drake Road. Drake Road will remain open with two lanes going both east and west on game days.

Plan ahead: The hospital front area staff will work closely with emergency cases traveling to and from the hospital at high-traffic periods to expedite their route. We will work with parking authorities to keep game-day parking attendees out of our dedicated staff, student and client lots on South Campus. We highly recommend pre-planning to coordinate timing of patient visitations and discharges on CSU game days.

Single game-day parking: Parking lots to the west of the hospital and Diagnostic Medicine Center will be closed to staff and students. On CSU home football game days, the west parking lots (see map/lots 725 and 740) will be used exclusively for single game-day parking. These lots will close to staff and student parking beginning at midnight the evening before football game day and lasting through midnight of football game day. The lots will open for single game-day attendees approximately four hours prior to scheduled kick-off and cost $20. There is no game-day parking for fans outside of designated areas on South Campus.
